NPR College of Nursing Marks World TB Day 2026 with Community Drive
To mark the global significance of World Tuberculosis Day, the NPR College of Nursing & Research Institute successfully organized an awareness campaign at the Uluppagudi Primary Health Centre. 🩹🏥
The event was centered around the 2026 theme: "Yes! We Can End TB: Led by countries, powered by people."
Resource Person Highlights: Dr. M. Azam, MBBS, the Block Medical Officer, served as the primary resource person. He educated both students and the local public on the symptoms, treatment protocols, and the social responsibility required to eliminate the disease. 🩺🔍
By bringing nursing education out of the classroom and into the Primary Health Centre, NPRRI ensures its students understand the vital role they play in national health missions.
